The Spontaneity of Freedom (SPONT) is a research project designed to explore spontaneous freedom–the freedom of acting in ways that are unplanned and unscripted. Selected by the European Research Council and funded by a £1.3 million UKRI Horizon Europe Guarantee Grant, the project is led by Jonathan Gingerich and hosted by the University College London Department of Philosophy.
